Printer not activated, error code - 30 when printing to PDF

Three possibilities:

  1. The Ability PDF printer driver cannot be used like a printer driver (actually, not allowed by our licensing terms). You cannot use File/Print and then select the Ability PDF driver from within Ability or any other program. To save as PDF, use File/Save As/PDF. Please note, you cannot use the PDF driver with any other software.
  2. In general, the newest version of Ability is required with the latest version of Windows. If you have Windows 10, Ability Office 7 or later is required for Save As PDF to work.
  3. The Ability PDF driver is not installed correctly. Please try uninstall and then re-install and then re-boot and try again.
