What are the hardware/operating system requirements?

Ability Office version 7 and 8

Any Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7 and Vista.

Ability Office version 6

Any 32 bit or 64 bit Windows XP or later i.e. Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8. Will run on Windows 10 but not recommended. There are no specific hardware or memory requirements - as long as Windows itself runs nicely, so will Ability.

Ability Office version 5

Same as for version 6 above except that the save to PDF feature does not work under Windows 8.

Ability Office version 4

Version 4 can be installed on all Windows versions from Windows 95/NT 4.0 and on. It is not recommended on Windows 7 or later since the save to PDF function does not work and the installation is not straightforward.

Ability Office 2002 and earlier

Not recommended and not tested on anything later than Windows XP. Cannot be installed on 64 bit OSes.
