How about pivot tables

There is no "Pivot" function built into this version of Ability. We have however written a simple macro that can be used to turn column information into a pivot table (or cross-tabulation). To see an example, download and open the following spreadsheet:


To use the code in this example for all spreadsheets:

  1. Open pivot.aws
  2. Select Tools/Macro/Macro Editor
  3. Open up the code in the pivot.aws Macro Module
  4. Select all the code and Copy
  5. Paste into the Application Macro Module

The macro "Pivot" can now be used in any spreadsheet.
