Problem: I've registered, but I still get the registration wizard appear every time Ability is started.
Or: I don't have an internet connection on the PC with Ability installed - how do I turn off the registration wizard?
Solution: The registration wizard is switched off by the "Registration Complete" button on the last page of the wizard. So, to turn it off, follow these steps:
- Logon to Windows with an administrator account.
- When the "Register" dialog appears, select Register Now.
- An attempt will be made to connect to our website. Whether this fails or succeeds, close down the browser.
- A second dialog is displayed - select Registration Complete.
Note: Prior to version 4.3.000 of Ability, if you re-installed Ability, it will ask you to re-register. Select Start/Programs/Ability Office/Tools/Check for Updates and install the latest version and this will no longer happen.
